AQA have produced an INSIGHT report. This may be useful for you to view and interweave into your teaching/online provision packages. The hubs have been focused on maths in science – these are not yet released, but will be soon so keep an eye on their website. It will be here too as a resource along with SOME ALREADY AVAILABLE helpful AO2 and AO3 resources: https://www.aqa.org.uk/subjects/science/gcse/focus-on-success-science.
There is a good collaboration of resources forming. It’s important that there is an activity that is appropriately challenging for students to apply their learning if using a resource. Google classroom can be used to ‘turn these in’ or if you have another alternative platform that does this it will allow you to track/feedback when appropriate.
We recommend a strategic plan for overseeing the potential move to home learning – whereby you can plan for all groups and then have a rolling programme. Google classrooms, show my homework and Microsoft teams all offer online opportunities for setting work/interaction/feedback. Rather than give lots of choice, it is recommended you have core learning items to complete – with extras if needed and you have time to signpost. So for example, everyone covers ‘Seneca on bonding’, then completes questions on ‘bonding worksheet 1’ and submits, rather than a choice of tasks using different platforms. This makes it easier for you to track and give feedback when necessary.
